Bio
Originally from Norwalk, Ohio, I attended Ohio University, graduating with a degree in Integrated Media Production, a minor in Business Management, and a Certificate in Social Media Studies in May of 2019.
Most recently I served as the Director of Video and Photography for the Department of Athletics at The Ohio State University. I oversaw the creation of this new department within Athletics, emphasizing strong internally produced photography while maintaining our high standard of video production. I led a team of five other content creators, providing coverage of all 36 varsity sports from media days to game action, from the Frozen Four to the College Football Playoff, from headshots to podiums.
Prior to stepping into a leadership role, I was a member of Digital Media team with the Athletic Department. From producing in-depth video features such as our Beyond The Block O series to photographing football game days in The Shoe, I provided a range creative services for all of the Buckeyes’ digital platforms.
Previously, I served the Video and Digital Coordinator for Vanderbilt Women’s Basketball. Continuing my professional career in the most competitive women’s basketball conference, the SEC, allowed me to grow and develop my skills on one of College Basketball’s biggest stages. I was able to push my creative boundaries and expand my abilities beyond video and into graphic design and photography, reflected in me having one of my portraits featured in The New York Times.
My first post-college position was as a video editor with UConn Athletics, where I gained tremendous experience working with the Huskies’ video staff, experiencing and thriving in the high pressure and expectations of a nationally relevant Division I athletic program. Shooting and editing nearly constantly and across a wide range of sports over the the course of an entire athletic calendar year improved my skills and knowledge dramatically, and the insights and knowledge I gained from the veteran video department in Storrs, Connecticut were invaluable to my professional development.
